Akela's Den has been opened since 2008 with Darrian taking over the reins in October 2015 after the untimely passing of Helen

Helen and Darrian utilised the knowledge gained from their 30+ yrs scouting experience as Adult Leaders when setting up Akela's Den.

Between them they have been many camping expeditions home and abroad and as both actively involved in local scouting.

Helen also had her Bronze, Sliver and Gold Duke of Edinburgh Awards as well as her Queen's Scout award and that knowledge was valuable whenit came to product selection.
