Latest news................
June 2010
Welcome one and all to our latest news page.
We have had some cracking weather but we haven’t yet put away the emergency poncho’s and warm funky hats as some places are still seeing snow – brrrrrrr!!!!!!
We now have in:
Trek mats both standard and long (for the taller people amongst us). They loft to 3cm and are Duke of Edinburgh award scheme approved. They roll down to a decent size and come with their own stuff sack. At £21 for the standard length and £24 for the long length they are not too much money for what you get.
For the Trangia fan:
We have a range of Trangia’s in stock including gas powered too.
We use the gas converted Trangia ourselves. You can use the spirit burner instead
of the gas burner if you desire and it makes the kit extremely flexible.
Needing spare parts?,
For your Trangia that is!! Then give us a call as we have a range of Trangia spares in stock as well as the fuel and fuel bottles.
What to cook on your stove?
Have you tried Wayfarer food? We have at the moment All Day Breakfast (£4),
Sausage Casserole (£4) and Chocolate Pudding (£3.50) for the most
discerning hiker/camper.
If you are part of a group and are looking to bulk buy Wayfarer food give us a call, drop us a line or call in and see us.

Happy Centenary Camp!!

Bravo
To all involved in scouting. Five successive years of growth has seen the movement
get close to half a million members in the UK.
Those of us involved as adults know how rewarding it is for people young an
old. With an inspirational Chief Scout in Bear Grylls we hope that scouting
continues to grow.
